We offer our Driver's Education program at Essex Tech and Bishop Fenwick.

The RMV has extended the Zoom Virtual classes through September 22, 2025. All classes will be held on Zoom.

After September 22, all Drivers' Ed Classes will be held in person.

$350 deposit is required before the start of the classroom

**If gas prices increase to $4.00 or higher, there will be a $5.00 surcharge for each road lesson

Per the RMV all students must be 15 years and 9 Months before the first day of class.

Tanner City Auto School is a place where the young and old alike can learn the skills and rules required of them to be a safe, responsible, and courteous driver. Tannery City Auto School offers many programs to get you the instruction you need. Whether it be first time driving instruction for a teenager or driver retraining for a seasoned veteran of the highways, we offer the flexibility and professional instruction that you expect from a leader in the field of driving instruction.

We have a special needs teacher who has had great success with helping anxious and special needs students in the classroom and wih passing the permit test.

Tanner City Auto School being in business for over 40 years have dedicated instructors that have been with us for more than 20 years.

At Tanner City Auto School we specialize in driver education for students throughout the Northshore.
